education??

I was wondering what is the objective of passing every damn class with good marks? I mean, honestly, my whole idea of doing well in school was to be the first rank holder......yes it is myopic vision.....( now even i have specs. haha). If I broaden the area of my thought further, then I would say even the job u do has nothing to do with ur degree. You can study ( do we ever?) anything and work anything.I mean I am M.A. but absolutley illiterate.Most of us should have flunked long back so that we could have taken our txtbooks seriously and go beyond rote learning......and only who are good enough for M.A. would do M.A. not every tom, dick and harry. No, my aim is not to write about M.A. or B.A or work or study. I am just exploring the objective of education or academics.

But in the end....being sincere student during school days certainly makes you disciplined!! So, yes it is not worthless but if given a chance I would relive my school days and college days quite differently. Not regretting everything though.
